What we collect
When you request an estimate or booking we may collect your name, mobile number, car details, optional registration number, service needs, and pickup address and PIN code if you request pickup. We do not ask for payment card details, ID documents or other sensitive information on this website.
How it's used
To contact you about your enquiry, arrange pickup and service, and send your quotation and bill. Feedback you send through the review form is used to respond to your experience. Your display name, rating, car model, service and feedback are published only if you choose the optional publication permission and the garage approves the review. Private feedback is not published.
If you use the WhatsApp buttons, your message is sent through WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
Images
Images and fonts are served with this website. Stock photos, where used, are credited. External services such as WhatsApp or Google receive connection information when you follow their links.
Storage
The cost estimator runs in your browser. Booking details you send are kept only as long as needed for your service and records.
The estimator temporarily keeps its booking handoff in session storage in this browser tab; closing the tab clears that session. Language preference is saved locally. Online booking form submissions are stored in Car Repair Wala's private Supabase database for authorised owner access, so the garage can contact you about the request. WhatsApp buttons and the service-page quick-enquiry forms prepare messages that you must send in WhatsApp. Private job files and billing records may also be stored there. Technical request identifiers and short-lived rate limits help prevent duplicate requests and abuse. Contact the garage about access, correction, deletion and record retention; billing records may need to be retained for legal requirements.
